RYE, N.Y. -(Dow Jones)- Privately held technology company
C-cation Inc. agreed to settle its patent-infringement lawsuit with
Comcast Cable Holdings LLC, a unit of Comcast Corp. .
Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed. The patent-infringement case initially involved AT&T Broadband, which Comcast acquired in November of 2002. C-cation had alleged Comcast infringed on a patent for a technology platform to deliver telephone, video, data and Internet signals through a single bundled system. In a press release Tuesday, C-cation said it granted Comcast a patent license for the technology under the agreement. C-cation also said it signed a business agreement with Comcast. A Comcast spokesperson wasn't immediately available for comment. -Stephen Lee; Dow Jones Newswires; 201-938-5400
