"Passive HFC" Architecture. "Our company is dedicated to the development of cutting-edge broadband
technologies," C-cation's President Alexander Cheng, PhD said. "We
have a suite of patented solutions to resolve the technological issues for
the delivery of broadband services. Our solutions are attracting the
attention of cable companies and cable equipment vendors," Cheng added.
He noted that C-cation is currently developing a server software
communication control module to integrate product offerings in order to
provide guaranteed quality of service and available bandwidth. "We are
excited that we now have an ongoing business relationship with Comcast. We
look forward to deploying our other patented technological solutions to the
cable industry." Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. |
